The Office of the Registrar is seeking an Administrative Coordinator II to provide day-to-day administrative support for the university’s program inventory. We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment and remains composed under pressure. What You Need to Know
Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 (Based on selected hire’s qualifications)

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Three years of experience in office administration
Preferred Qualifications
+ Two years of professional experience in higher education
+ Experience in the application of University regulations and laws with respect to program requirements
+ Previous experience in a position requiring attention to detail, proofreading, and researching skills
+ Previous experience with student information systems and content management systems
+ Previous experience reviewing curriculum proposals for sufficiency
+ Familiarity with Texas A&M academic procedures, policies, and rules
+ Knowledge and understanding of FERPA
+ Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat Professional
+ Experience with student information system (Banner). Knowledge of content management systems (CourseLeaf). Training presentation and delivery skills
+ Strong proofreading, editing and researching skills
+ Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
+ Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications
+ Familiarity of Banner’s Curriculum, Advising, and Program Planning (CAPP) module and Courseleaf content management system

Responsibilities
Administrative Support
+ Coordinates administrative functions related to the university program inventory, tracks certificate, combination, and distance education program approvals
+ Responds to routine inquiries from faculty and staff with professionalism and accuracy
+ Monitors and maintains group email accounts
+ Develops and updates procedures for program inventory processes as appropriate
+ Maintains an understanding of pertinent federal, state, system, and university rules and regulations
+ Supports the implementation of relevant policies and procedures
Coordination
+ Audits and updates internal databases containing approved certificate, combination and distance education program information to ensure accuracy
+ Updates, monitors, and analyzes course, program and term information on the Army Ignited (Academic Institution) database
+ Creates and develops reports as appropriate
+ Assists in coordinating unit presentations to campus community
+ Plans and facilitate procedural training for college and departmental staff on using the Curricular Approval Request System, CARS.
+ Provides backup support for bachelor, certificate, minor and professional practice degree evaluation maintenance
+ Maintains and reviews office tracking of W and C courses proposals and approvals
Program Inventory
+ Reviews program proposals submitted through the curricular approval request system, CARS, and ensures proposals adhere to university policies and procedures
+ Interprets and upholds university rules, federal regulations, student rules, and state law
+ Maintains and updates program inventory records in both CARS and the student information system related to online and distance education
+ Coordinates the review of graduate degree programs for sufficiency to standard administrative procedures
+ Assists in the review of bachelor, certificate, minor and professional practice program proposals and analyzes and interprets proposed program changes and their effect on a program's degree evaluation. Provides recommendations to university faculty and staff on program changes and their impact on a program's degree evaluation and students
Catalog Production
+ Assists in the production of the university Catalogs, ensuring the accuracy of program information
+ Reviews program catalog pages for adherence to catalog style guidelines and procedures
Customer Service
+ Serves as a point of contact for inquiries related to the catalog and curricular approval processes
+ Answers the main Curricular Services phone line and direct calls and responds to emails in a respectful and prompt manner
+ Performs additional responsibilities as directed to support the goals and operations of the Office of the Registrar
