Job Description
This HR Coordinator role provides comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the HR and safety teams, with a strong focus on accurate reporting and data entry. The position plays a key role in maintaining organized HR records, supporting workers’ compensation processes, and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations during a leave of absence coverage, with the potential to extend or become permanent.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including preparing documents, maintaining records, and organizing files.Perform accurate and timely data entry into HR systems, spreadsheets, and tracking tools.Assist the safety team with administrative reporting, documentation, and tracking of safety-related information.Coordinate HR-related activities and processes, ensuring deadlines are met and information is properly documented.Provide general administrative support such as scheduling, correspondence, and handling routine inquiries.Assist with workers’ compensation documentation and related administrative tasks as needed.Collaborate with HR, safety, and learning and development (L&D) team members to ensure consistent and accurate information sharing.Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information in all HR and administrative activities.Essential SkillsProven experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.Demonstrated administrative coordination experience in an office environment.Background in human resources support, HR administration, or HR coordination.Experience providing administrative assistance or administrative support to teams or departments.Ability to assist with workers’ compensation documentation and related processes.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience as an HR assistant, HR coordinator, or administrative assistant in a corporate or industrial setting.Familiarity with HR processes, documentation, and reporting practices.Comfort working with HR, safety, and learning and development (L&D) stakeholders.Proficiency with office productivity tools and basic HR systems or databases.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support a variety of HR and safety initiatives.Work Environment
This is an in-office role working closely with the HR, safety, and learning and development (L&D) teams in a collaborative environment. The position supports a leave of absence coverage, with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role. The workday primarily involves computer-based tasks such as data entry, documentation, and reporting, along with regular interaction with team members in a professional office setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
