This person relieves the manager of all clerical details and minor administrative matters by serving as an administrative coordinator with responsibility for all support operations of the office. This section is responsible for the state regulatory oversight of 35 + Medicaid/Medicare health care services from the 30,000 + providers/suppliers. This is accomplished through conducting licensing and certification surveys. Louisiana Medicaid is a multi-million-dollar program that provides health care of some 725,000 + citizens.
