Front Desk/Receptionist at Capital Area Human Services District, we’re dedicated to providing outstanding healthcare to individuals and families in our District. We're seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and proactive Front Desk/Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients and families. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Greets patients or customers in a friendly and professional manner, including welcoming the patient, making eye contact, and smiling. + Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accurate information and efficient scheduling. + Completes the registration of the patient, explaining the paperwork to be completed to the patient if necessary. + Ensures that a clear copy of the patient’s current insurance card(s) and demographic information is entered into the patient’s medical record. + Performs appropriate, timely, and accurate documentation in the medical record as is applicable to patient service duties. + Tracking and follow-up with patient cancellations and no-shows. + Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. + Answer multi-line phones and respond to inquiries in a courteous and timely manner. Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: Probational or Job Appointment. Work Schedule: 9 hours per day Monday - Thursday, 4 hours on Friday.
