The mission of the Louisiana Veterans Homes is to primarily serve the veteran population of Louisiana by providing medical, restorative, and rehabilitative services in an atmosphere of respect and compassion. The primary objective of the home is to provide quality nursing care to eligible veterans, with the ultimate goal of returning them to the highest possible levels of physical and mental capacity.
The Louisiana Veterans Homes is seeking a detail-oriented and organizedAdministrative Coordinator 3to manage the operation of our warehouse and stock control system. This role is vital to ensuring the accurate tracking, ordering, and distribution of supplies that support the daily needs of our facility. The ideal candidate will have strong inventory management skills, experience with warehouse operations, and the ability to maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
TheAdministrative Coordinator 3 is responsible for the operation of the warehouse/stock control system at the Louisiana Veterans' Home and will perform specific functions such as:
+ Receive and inspect incoming supplies or equipment and compare specific items on the invoice, requisition, or purchase order.
+ Coordinate with the property control office to ensure that items are tagged and inventoried as required before distribution is made.
+ Maintain a perpetual inventory system to record inventory level, additions, stock usage, and dates.
+ Perform timekeeping duties for the accounting department utilizing the attendance enterprise and the LAgov ECC systems.
