Administrative Associate performs multi dimensional administrative tasks that require creativity and independent discretionary judgment to meet the needs of the teamManages a variety of medical staff meetings and projects including the independent performance of a wide range of complex administrative assistant duties and a multitude of office procedures in support of the Medical Staff Officers and the Medical Staff Offices in the Central Region Serves as a liaison between medical staff members medical staff services other hospital departments and administration to provide outstanding customer service and accepting responsibility to build and maintain relationships that are equally respectful to allThe value yoursquoll bring to the teamDemonstrates Hartford Healthcarersquos core values of Caring Equity Excellence Integrity and SafetyExamples of daily duties include but are not limited to coordinating the Central Region Credentials Committee and Medical Executive Committee meetings including minute taking and distribution maintains and protects the confidential records of proceedings Forwards recommendations and follow up submission of all minutes to the Medical Staff Office Coordinating the Central Region Board of Directors Credentialing Committee Zoom meetings and minutes ensuring accuracy of information submitted to the Board of DirectorsMaintains up to date knowledge regarding the Medical Staff Bylaws Credentialing Policy Peer Review Policy and General Rules and Regulations Serves as a knowledgeable resource Educates medical staff leaders hospital personnel and administrators as necessary andor requested Other duties may include sending out and processing the intake of applications coordinating Medical Staff events annual Medical Staff dues and assisting with day to day credentialing matters This is a highly visible fast paced and fun position for the right personAbility to travel between Hospital of Central Connecticut and Midstate Medical Center is
