The Events Administrative Assistant responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Sales & Events team and in house groups & events.
Assist with contracts, proposals, and event documentation, support internal communication between departments and event coordination, respond to internal and external inquiries as needed and general organization.
While groups are in house, act as a liaison between the Event Sales and/or Event Planning Manager, hotel operations and the on-site meeting contact. This position is highly visible and the central point for handling and addressing special needs or requests. It requires detailed knowledge of the hotel meeting facilities, group dynamics, and event details, customer facing communication & collaboration.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain organized filing systems for contracts, proposals, and client correspondence.
• Prepare and distribute Banquet Event orders, contracts, and reports.
• Manage calendars, appointments, and meeting scheduling for the Sales & Events team.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Client interaction pre-arrival and during event
