Administrative Assistant

 

REPORTS TO:              Controller                                                         STATUS:  Non-Exempt

                                                                                   

PAY RANGE: $18 - $21 / hour

 

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

Duties include general clerical, receptionist, and project-based work. Projects a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. Responsible for a segment of the company’s Accounts Receivable functions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Serves as customer contact for statement questions and reconciles discrepancies. 

 

Maintain paper and electronic files and records.

 

Handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.

Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.

Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.

Support staff in assigned project-based work both in a team-oriented environment and independently.

Utilizes organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills to perform work efficiently and effectively.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

 

May be required to maintain customer information.

 

Occasionally may be asked to drive and run local errands as requested.

 

May be required to cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Normally requires an Associate’s Degree in a business-related field, or the equivalent thereof, and prior work experience to demonstrate advanced knowledge of professional communication skills, basic accounting functions and computer systems and programs.

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. 

 

Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
