Administrative Assistant - Labor Services

The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 97-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter. **Summary** Reporting to the Director of Labor Services, it is the responsibility of the Administrative Assistant - Labor Services to provide support to the Labor Services operational actives. This role will bring together information and resources to aid in the delivery of day-to-day operations and large-scale employment events. Work sites include office environments as well as convention center and exposition halls. This person will professionally interact with customers, team members, and third-party vendor/partner representatives to provide the highest level of service excellence. This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Las Vegas, NV. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Perform clerical and administrative duties in an office and trade show event site setting. + Uses a variety of office software applications including but not limited to word processing, email, and excel, and using Share point (ECS). + Open and create new files for each individual job/show. + Operate and maintain office equipment such as printers and copy machines, fixing any malfunctioning office equipment to best of knowledge, calling IT when needed. + Replacing toners, empting waste box and maintaining paper supplies. May serve as liaison with Copier service and vendor. + Assists with other projects and special assignments as required by Freeman management team. **Education & Experience** **_Required_** + At least 1 year of previous administrative and/or operations experience. + Previous experience producing communication and instructional documentation. + Strong software skills, including email, timekeeping, phone system, and/or payroll. + Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data management tools and creating automated processes. + Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. + Ability to read, speak, and write in English. + Highschool diploma or equivalent. **_Preferred_** + Any level of college, technical degree, or certification in business administration, finance, event planning, or similar. + Previous experience working with a collective bargaining agreement. + Ability to read, speak, and write languages in addition to English. **What We Offer** Freeman provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
