Job details We are currently recruiting for a Permitting Coordinator/Office Administrator for a client that is located in Brandenton. In this position you will be taking In bound calls and entering notes in the system as well as order verification. Microsoft skills and experience are necessary as well as good customer service and phone etiquette. The pay rate is $19/hr, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. You will also be responsible for processing and reviewing applications, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with regulations. They also work with applicants and the public to answer questions and provide service as well as the Application processing, review, and issue permits. ...

Track applications and ensure timely responses
Prepare and issue notices for expired permits
Verify the completeness of approved transactions
Accept fees for services

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Record keeping
Maintain permit, inspection, and address files
Prepare, organize, and maintain inspection records
Maintain filing systems for permits and inspection sheets
Set up and maintain files and data
Compliance
Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Perform minor technical plan reviews
Update internal teams on new requirements or regulations
Customer service
Respond to questions and inquiries from the public
Assist customer service representatives
Provide responsive, courteous, and efficient service to residents and the general public
