Description
The Administrative Assistant III is responsible for supporting all aspects of support related to scheduling and confirming patients for upcoming procedural cases across multiple UCLA Health venues. This incumbent is responsible for working within an interdependent team structure by using strong communication and problem solving skills to maximize customer satisfaction for patients, physicians, nurses, and administrative colleagues. The incumbent must be adaptable and demonstrate good time management skills in order to achieve the department's goal of completing a variety of time-sensitive tasks with varying daily volumes and complexities. To enable these outcomes, the incumbent is responsible for achieving quality and productivity standards in designated performance metrics. The incumbent will be responsible for ordering and maintaining an adequate amount of office supplies for the department. The incumbent will scan, archive and maintain all necessary department forms and documents and be ready to produce documents at a moment's notice.
Qualifications
Required:
+ Outstanding customer service skills
+ Excellent communication skills, either over the phone and in writing
+ Experience in organizing workflow in order to accomplish established objectives
+ Strong organizational and time management skills
+ Ability to work as part of team and establish cooperative working relationships with administrators, physician, peers, and the public
+ The ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
+ Knowledge of Medical terminology
+ Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding
+ Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex problems
