ChristianaCare is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant II to be responsible for maintaining routine administrative functions at the nursing units. Provides coverage for other office assistants when requested.
The ideal candidate will be well organized, detail oriented and multitask. Candidate to complete tasks and duties within a prescribed timeline. Proficient computer skills along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Benefits of working at ChristianaCareGenerous PTO, Competitive Pay & Robust Benefits Package.403B company match and Tuition Reimbursement12 weeks Paid Parental Leave (after one year of service)Principal duties and responsibilities:Types departmental policies and procedures, reports, inter- and intra-departmental memorandums, capital budget worksheets, and meeting agendas and minutesMaintains personnel and departmental files in an organized fashionProduces flow charts, slides, and other graphic materialProduces departmental data forms, i.e., sign-in sheets, assignment sheets, statistical work sheets andspreadsheetsUtilized Windows-based office programs including work processing, spreadsheet, and data base productsMaintains departmental payroll recordsMaintains departmental caregiver filesMaintains departmental attendance recordsProvides administrative support for setting up conferences including room reservation, food, and all corresponding conference communicationsCompletes travel and attendance arrangements for staff to attend conferencesMaintains departmental Inservice records and provides data to Nursing EducationsystemArrange meetings for nurse managersAnswers telephones, screening and routing calls as necessaryMaintains office supplies within budgetMaintains departmental communication devicesMaintains inventory of unit equipment and devicesMaintains confidentiality of patient/member and staff information, compliant with HIPAA regulations.Demonstrates proficient written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrates a sound knowledge base of appropriate departmental and hospital guidelines/policies.Attend staff meetings and mandatory Inservice.Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.Perform other related duties as needed.Office Hours: Day Shift 7a - 3:30pEducation and Experience Requirements

Hourly Pay Range: $22.29 - $33.44This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
