The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their full-time Administrative Assistant II positions in the Office of Workforce Development, Workforce Data & Program Quality . This position will be responsible for providing intermediate to advanced technical-level support and office administration . These positions are located at the TCSG System Office in Atlanta at 1800 Century Place, Atlanta, GA 30345. RESPONSIBILITIES · Performs and completes tasks and assignments which support management in organizing and executing routine activities and special projects. · Provides support and may serve as a liaison with outside organizations to gather to report program-related information. · Provides administrative support with the planning and coordination of meetings, conferences, and seminars, including taking of meeting minutes and distributing summaries. · Completes complex processing of documents and/or transaction for assigned organizational unit, program, and/or specialized function/activity. · Conducts research using a variety of sources to complete, prepare, process, and/or generate reports and other documentation, or to respond to inquiries, questions, or requests. · Enter data from forms, records, reports, and/or other sources into computer for purposes such as maintaining databases, updating directories, i.e. · Use computer software as a tool for performing clerical assignments. · Monitors use of and maintain supplies, equipment, and/or facilities for assigned work unit or program area; and · Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS · Associates degree in a related field and One(1) year of work -related experience *OR* High school diploma or equivalent *and* Three (2) years of work -related experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Previous experience working for a WIOA funded program. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES · Basic understanding of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) · Skill in the operation of computers and job-related software programs (i.e., word, power point, excel). · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public. · Decision making and critical thinking skills . · Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize workload. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK CONDITIONS · Work is primarily performed in an office environment during standard business hours.
