Administrative Assistant I

Ecolab is seeking an Administrative Assistant-Military Sales Support Assistant for the Virginia Beach District Naval and Military operations in the Servmart retail warehouse. Support Sales and Service Associates including Territory Representatives and Service Representatives. This individual will manage and prioritize requests from management and territory representatives regarding Navy and Military sales and service, ensuring all sales reporting and correspondence is completed in a timely, accurate and professional manner.  Enhance sales in Servmart by interacting with customers and potential customers, by showcasing and merchandising the value of Ecolab to Ship and Shore accounts. We are looking for a driven self-starter with strong interpersonal skills with excellent organization and resourcefulness who wants to work in an exciting and challenging environment.

 What You Will Do: 

Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence with all partners, vendors and customersHandle customer inquiries with appropriate resources regarding productsAnswer Phone calls as well as support Customers/Military Personnel regarding estimatesConduct research, complete data regarding COO(Country of Origin) for all supplies within sales area as well as NSN (National Serial Number)Properly file and maintain all information within SharePoint siteSpearhead projects to improve systems proactivelyRead and analyze all sales reports / following up weekly confirming processedWork within SAP for monthly AP AuditConfirm all payments have been processed (within SAP Monthly Audit) as well as work with vendor if payments have not been processed correctlyWork supporting outside sales team with miscellaneous tasksAnswer customers' questions about merchandise and advise customers on the value of Ecolab and product selection.  Design and set up displays of merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.  Receive, open, unpack and stage sales floor merchandise.   Stock shelves( 50lbs+), racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.  Take inventory and examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.  Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.  Attach, or change price tags on merchandise, referring to price list.  Prepares correspondence, presentations, sales quotes and special projects for designated associates. Including special projects such as email flyers and presentations materials to ship and shore accounts. Other duties as assigned by District Manager Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying climate conditions (i.e. extreme heat in the summer due to no air-conditioning)

Minimum Qualifications: 

1+ years of work experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent  Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PPT) Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position

SalesforceSAPMicrosoft Applications: BI, Sharepoint, OutlookBachelor’s degree 1 year of administrative experience  Ability to successfully manage multiple, competing priorities to meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service focus  Organizational skills and attention to detail  Ability to anticipate needs, be resourceful, and use sound judgment and tact Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills Learning agility: Ability to quickly gain knowledge of organizational operations, procedures, and staff  Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate in a team environment Reliability, flexibility and approachability  Process oriented, adaptable, reliable, flexible and approachable 

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $41,000.00 - $61,600.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
