Labcorp is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Metrology team in Madison, WI!

Job Responsibilities:

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for the manager and the staff of the department.

Maintains the data base for equipment calibrations and maintenance reports as requiredAct as the department RCP (Requestor Contact Person for Sourcing and Supply Management), including entering orders into FSA, desktop receiving, and approving invoices as requiredServe as a front-line information source for internal and external customersPrepare documents for shipping equipment for calibration and/or repair and manage record keeping for the shipping process as requiredAssists in the management of departmental files, forms, SOP’s and archive departmental records as requiredSupport efforts in scheduling activities (e.g., contractor visits, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, agendas & minutes, etc.)Assist with employee training file documentation as neededServe as Document Coordinator for Metrology and Facilities controlled documentsPerform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree2 years or more of administrative experienceGood computer skills including ability to manage electronic work order ticketsStrong knowledge of office software (e.g., Microsoft® Office)Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

3 months or more of experience with Veeva Systems software1 year or more of experience in providing internal customer

Additional Job Standards:

Flexible to work overtime as neededComfortable working in Animal Research facility

Pay: $23/hr.
