We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to our office operations. This role involves general administrative duties, visitor support, and coordination of internal events. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong organizational skills.
ResponsibilitiesProvide general support for visitors and greet them upon arrival.Distribute incoming mail and ensure timely correspondence.Utilize Microsoft Office for various administrative tasks.Answer and direct phone calls efficiently.Perform document scanning and filing to maintain organized records.Oversee internal office events including staff meetings, celebrations, and other gatherings.Coordinate the ordering, inventory, and distribution of company apparel, tracking sizes and managing vendor relationships.Maintain accurate records of apparel orders and usage.Assist the President and Owner with necessary tasks.Support basic transactional accounting duties, including accounts payable and receivable.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office.Strong data entry skills.Excellent clerical abilities, including filing and front desk management.Effective communication and greeting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious administrative experience is required.Experience with basic accounting tasks is a plus.Work EnvironmentThis position offers a 100% on-site work environment, ensuring direct interaction with colleagues and visitors. The role requires a professional appearance to maintain a welcoming office atmosphere.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
