Administrative Assistant
This full-time, in-office role located in downtown Edmonton is a great fit for an adaptable administrative professional who enjoys being involved in many aspects of office operations.

Working closely with senior leadership in a small, collaborative team, this position offers meaningful exposure across communications, coordination, and compliance-related support. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and confident juggling multiple priorities in a setting where everyone contributes beyond a fixed job scope.

This is a contract position for approximately 2 years.

What You’ll Be DoingAct as a primary point of contact for incoming phone calls and emails, responding to member and public inquiries in a professional and courteous mannerSupport daily office operations, including supply coordination and general administrative tasksAssist with scheduling, documentation, and follow-up for internal meetings, working groups, and hearingsPrepare and distribute regular newsletters and member communicationsProcess renewals and maintain accurate records and contact informationManage updates to the website and business social media platforms, including weekly Facebook postsTrack and maintain compliance-related documentationWhat We’re Looking ForApproximately 3–5 years of administrative experience, though candidates earlier in their careers will be considered if they bring strong communication skills and initiativeClear, professional written and verbal communication with excellent phone and email etiquetteProficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word, with confidence using digital filing and record systems - testing requiredStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlinesA collaborative and accountable work style — comfortable asking questions, taking notes, learning from feedback, and flagging issues when support is neededExperience working in a small office environment where flexibility and teamwork are essentialComfort managing business social media accounts, with the ability to create consistent weekly updatesExposure to regulatory, governance, or government settings is an asset, as is familiarity with land surveying or similar professional environments
