Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Pay Range: $24.00 to $26.00 an Hour
Job Description
As a Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing productivity and profitability by ensuring quality-oriented material selection. You will be responsible for monitoring the production backlog to prevent extended lead times and will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
Continuously improve on-time delivery to customers.Eliminate rework and scrap through precise material selection.Monitor production workload and communicate with the Warehouse Supervisor on priorities and sales requests.Recommend alternative solutions to address bottlenecks and backlogs.Strive for continuous improvement in processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.Regularly provision materials for orders and assess production lead times for communication to sales.Conduct daily reviews of the current backlog with the Warehouse Supervisor.Expedite critical orders and participate in weekly production meetings.Back up receiving inspection and process change orders for jobs released to the shop.Manage LCS compliance procedures and review new orders for lead time compliance.Recommend off-loading work when lead times exceed industry standards.Understand and verify all customer requirements on travelers and purchase orders.Collaborate closely with shop personnel.Essential Skills
1+ year of administrative experience.Strong communication skills.1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office.Proven quick learning ability in a manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred.Work Environment
