Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a family-oriented environment and is eager to learn and grow within the company. You will play a crucial role in managing daily administrative tasks and supporting both customers and team members.
Responsibilities
Monitor and buzz in truck drivers, which will be a major part of your duties.Input customer and company information into Excel and the company system, and manually file all documentation.Reorganize the filing system alphabetically to ensure efficient data retrieval.Review tickets for billing and visit the post office to retrieve checks for posting.Handle tickets from incoming trucks and assist with inventory management of gallons in and out.Perform ad hoc tasks as needed to support the team.Essential Skills
Minimum 1 year of administrative experience, which may include internships.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle emails and phone calls from customers.Comfortable with basic arithmetic operations, such as adding and subtracting, for invoice and billing management.Ability to maintain organized filing systems and company information.Additional Skills & Qualifications

You will work in a small office environment with about three employees. Our technicians, numbering around thirteen, are mostly on the road but will visit the office throughout the day. The office has a casual dress code, and you will have the flexibility to adjust your hours when needed, with typical work hours being 8am to 5pm, including a half-hour lunch break. The role offers long-term stability, as many employees have been with the company for over 10-15 years.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
