Located just west of Times Square, Manhattan Plaza is a unique community housing 1,689 units, where 70% of our residents are performing artists. It's a home for creativity and culture, surrounded by the vibrancy of New York's arts scene. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Providing timely and professional responses to phone calls and emails.Collecting, distributing, and processing resident and applicant paperwork, including applications, interviews, and background/credit checks, etc. to ensure seamless communication and workflow.Reviewing, tracking, and maintaining financial and tax-related records in Microsoft Excel, managing lease documentation, and ensuring secure handling and disposal of confidential materials.Maintaining an organized inventory of copier supplies and ensuring copier machines are properly serviced and functional.Scheduling and coordinating appointments for recertifications, applications, and other resident-facing processes to optimize workflow and support staff and residents effectively.Providing professional administrative support to staff and management by managing tasks independently, responding promptly to phone calls and emails, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Supporting operations with additional administrative duties as assigned, which may include managing a limited recertification caseload.

COMPENSATION:

$27.88 - $29.81 / hourAnnual Performance Bonus  

This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.


Qualifications
