A health care organization in Honolulu is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is an onsite position requiring strong administrative skills, the ability to multitask, and effective communication while supporting day-to-day operations. Preference will be given to Hawaii residents due to the onsite interviewing and work requirements. This role is perfect for a candidate looking to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment in the healthcare industry. Primary Responsibilities:
+ Provide administrative support to executives, managers, and department teams.
+ Maintain and organize schedules, calendars, and appointments for leaders and staff.
+ Prepare and edit documents, reports, and correspondence in a timely manner.
+ Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries with a professional demeanor and efficient follow-up.
+ Manage, track, and organize files and records, ensuring confidentiality.
+ Assist with meeting coordination, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and logistics.
+ Support office operations, including ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment, and resolving logistical issues.
+ Contribute to team communication and workflow optimization efforts.
Requirements
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
+ Experience: At least 2+ years of administrative assistant experience, preferably in healthcare or a related field.
+ Education: High school diploma; additional certifications or college coursework preferred.
+ Skills:
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
+ Comfortable working independently while supporting team efforts.
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
