Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the program, project, or department staff. This individual will provide assistance with typing, filing, phone systems, errands and other office support to staff members as assigned by the Program Coordinator. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for all duties and responsibilities herein as well as other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide administrative support for all program staff upon request; Maintain an effective filing, logging, and tracking system as needed; Answer telephone calls, take messages and ensure proper distribution of messages; Perform logging, scheduling, and duplicating duties as necessary; Perform all corresponding duties at the request of the Program Coordinator to include, but not limited to, memos, letters, email, and production of certificates; Develop all General Staff meeting minutes and maintain file; Maintain a postal log for all incoming/ outgoing mail; Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation; and Perform any other duties as assigned.
