Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to effectively manage and maintain employee and departmental records. This role requires coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, as well as supporting the onboarding of new employees and conducting orientations. The successful candidate will assist in the procurement and distribution of office supplies and equipment, manage correspondence, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant will provide support for special projects, document management, and serve as a liaison between departments and external contacts.
ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain accurate employee and departmental records.Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.Assist in onboarding new employees and conducting orientations.Support procurement and distribution of office supplies and equipment.Handle correspondence, including emails, memos, and reports.Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Provide support for special projects and initiatives as assigned.Assist with document management, including filing and archiving.Serve as a liaison between departments and external contacts.Essential Skills1-2 years of experience in administrative support or a related field.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications3 to 5 years of experience in administrative roles is preferred.Work Environment
The Administrative Assistant will work in a dynamic office environment that requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools. The role demands a high level of organization and attention to detail, with opportunities to collaborate across departments. The position involves a standard work schedule with occasional requirements to adjust hours to accommodate meetings or travel arrangements.

This is a Contract position based out of Purcellville, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.65/hr.
