Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Description

This role is based in Corpus Christi, Texas. As an Administrative Associate, you will be responsible for creating and paying invoices and managing inventory. You will perform basic administrative duties under immediate supervision, following well-defined, standard procedures to support the business unit.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare documents, reports, and spreadsheets as needed.Maintain files and calendars.Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other department software/systems.Listen to and understand written and verbal instructions.Communicate effectively with co-workers, other employees, and customers.Work effectively and productively with others, actively helping with assignments as necessary.Answer customer questions and refer questions to others as needed.Learn the function of the department to assist customers more effectively.Apply basic education and training in job responsibilities and assignments.Demonstrate initiative to handle assignments beyond the routine.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED.One year of administrative work experience.Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.Ability to organize data and processes.Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in power, engineering, or similar industries.Experience with timekeeping and financial systems helpful.Knowledge in financial systems, financial reporting, and bookkeeping.Work Environment

The position requires working onsite five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role offers a long-term contract with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Job Type & Location

This is a long-term Contract position based out of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $13.00 - $16.00/hr.
