Administrative Assistant
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our leasing department on a contract basis. This role is based in New York, New York, and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to day-to-day operations by supporting residents and ensuring smooth administrative processes. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, possess strong organizational skills, and have a solid understanding of leasing practices. Responsibilities: • Communicate effectively with residents, including reaching out to remind them to return lease renewal documents. • Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries. • Manage data entry tasks with accuracy using Yardi software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Coordinate appointments and maintain schedules to ensure the leasing department runs efficiently. • Conduct email correspondence professionally and promptly to address resident concerns and department needs. • Assist with voucher residents and apply knowledge of leasing practices to support their needs. • Prepare and organize documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency. • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with departmental standards. • Support general administrative duties to contribute to the overall success of the leasing department. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or leasing-related role. • Proficiency in Yardi software and the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service. • Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with a high level of care and precision. • Familiarity with leasing practices and working with voucher residents. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Capable of managing schedules and appointments efficiently. • Experience with email correspondence and data entry.
