Key Responsibilities: + Provide assistance to students facing personal challenges, helping them navigate resources and solutions. + Act as a compassionate point of contact, listening attentively to students’ needs and directing them to appropriate services. + Update and maintain student records with accuracy and confidentiality. + Monitor and organize files, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal requirements. + Assist students in completing various forms and applications, including registration, financial aid, and accommodation requests. + Answer phones, handle emails, and manage correspondence efficiently and professionally. + Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and organize meetings. + Coordinate office supplies and support day-to-day operations. + Work closely with faculty, staff, and department heads to address student needs. + Support initiatives to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students. Requirements Key Requirements + Empathy, discretion, and emotional intelligence are critical for success in this role. + Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role. + Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably involving program coordination or budget management. + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to assist individuals experiencing distress. + Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
