Administrative Assistant
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Selbyville, Delaware. In this role, you will support daily operations for a non-profit organization by managing administrative tasks efficiently and effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for providing exceptional support. Responsibilities: • Manage incoming and outgoing calls while ensuring a courteous and attentive demeanor. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. • Perform accurate data entry to maintain and update organizational records. • Draft, send, and respond to email correspondence in a timely manner. • Organize and schedule appointments, ensuring all details are accurately recorded. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and update spreadsheets for tracking purposes. • Prepare documents and presentations using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. • Maintain a well-organized filing system for easy access to important records. • Coordinate team calendars and assist with meeting preparations as needed. • Support additional administrative tasks as required by the organization. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or similar role. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach. • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload. • Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage schedules and coordinate appointments effectively. • Familiarity with handling inbound and outbound calls in a detail-oriented environment.
