Administrative Assistant
Description We are looking for a highly organized PART-TIME Administrative Assistant to join our team on a Contract-to-Permanent basis in Dallas, Texas. This opportunity is tailored for professionals seeking part-time work on a flexible schedule of 1–2 days per week. It's especially well-suited for individuals who balance personal responsibilities, such as dropping off and picking up their children from school and would like to contribute meaningfully in between. The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience in a CPA, tax, or accounting firm, bringing valuable expertise to the position. Responsibilities: • Organize and maintain tax-related client documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Scan and digitally file client records for secure storage and efficient retrieval. • Manage both physical and electronic filing systems to support auditing and compliance efforts. • Provide clerical support, including scheduling appointments and handling correspondence. • Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist clients with inquiries and scheduling. • Perform data entry tasks, ensuring information is accurately recorded and updated. • Utilize Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word for various administrative tasks. • Assist with annual filings, e-filing, and document preparation as needed. • Photocopy and scan documents to support team workflow. • Maintain organized records and files to streamline operations during peak periods. Requirements • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a CPA firm or similar environment. • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Proficiency in using office equipment, including scanners and photocopiers. • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. • Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and efficiency. • Knowledge of basic accounting or tax processes is preferred but not required. • Flexibility to work on a part-time basis with adaptability to changing priorities. • Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
