About this Job
This Administrative Assistant position will serve as administrative support for the Office of the Dean -- School of Social Work at Grambling State University.

Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Manage the offices of the Associate Dean to make day-to-day administrative decisions on his/her behalf.
+ Provide assistance to faculty, staff, and students under the direction of the Associate Dean.
+ Monitor budget and view budget items periodically to ensure smooth seamless operation.
+ Notify Associate Dean of any concerns lack and/or program needs.
+ Provide administrative support to the MSW Program.
+ Inform Director and Associate Dean of any issues related to students’ progress and problems that might arise.
+ Compose correspondences, admission reports, and other documents relating to the MSW program. e College of Professional Studies.
