This position contributes to Starbucks success by providing dedicated administrative support of a confidential and complex nature to one or more executives. You will handle confidential and non-routine information and exercise independent judgment and discretion in making decisions and carrying out activities following general guidelines. A candidate in this role will demonstrate the ability to perform effectively with limited direction and model and act in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
**As an administrative front desk receptionist, you will…**
• Deliver excellent visitor services to all guests, vendors and partners
• Perform general administrative activities including screening and directing incoming phone calls, and prioritizing, distributing and acting on mail, assisting partners with FedEx
• Provide badging services to all guests
• Serve as a point of contact for the business unit or department.
• Answer questions, direct requests to appropriate partners and work with other partners effectively to exchange information. Escorts visitors
• Organize, host and facilitate activities such as team and cross-functional meetings, conferences and department activities
• Provide support and resources to department hiring managers for new partner setup and immersion activities
• Organize and schedules team and department meetings, arrange for live and telepresence audiovisual equipment, sets up meeting room.
• Initiate special projects and process improvements based upon observations of department needs.
• Actively engage with executive's direct report team to ensure alignment of priorities and open communication paths. May attend direct report team meetings as requested

• Order and maintain office supplies
• Assist in managing office cleaners
• Advise department in awareness of and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support executive, department and administrative team in coffee education as a part of Starbucks core business
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
