Our client, a not-for-profit regulatory organization, is currently searching for a dynamic and skilled Administrative Assistant to join their team for a part-time 4-month contract from July-November 2025. This individual will provide temporary support for the organization's Programs & Continuing Education department, specifically assisting with the planning and execution of their Annual Conference in October 2025.

Event planning and support. More specifically, this role will provide assistance in the planning, execution, and day-of delivery of the organization's Annual Conference, as well as any other Continuing Education events (in-person, hybrid, or remote) that occur during the temporary contract. Supporting the organization's subcommittees related to EDI and Truth & Reconciliation, including meeting coordination, agenda drafting, note-taking, and other necessary documentation. Providing customer service support for various programs within the organization, including email and phone communication with external partners, clients, registrants, and volunteers. Assisting with other adhoc projects and tasks as assigned QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES: 3+ years of previous experience in a customer-focused administrative role 1+ years of experience in event planning 1+ years of experience with CMS and event management software 1+ years of experience working with webinar platforms (Teams, Zoom, GoTo, etc) Diploma or degree is preferred but not required Experience working with volunteers is an asset Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail Excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
