The Compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience, Job Overview: Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of unit/dept. Qualifications: Required: + Associate s degree with 1 year administrative/office experience + Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Strong typing skills are required + Well organized, motivated, and have initiative with attention to detail + Works well independently and as part of a team. Proactive in meeting the team s needs + Commitment to working with clients with compassion and empathy for underserved populations + Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills to effectively work and communicate with clients, service providers, hospital staff and TRAC team + Punctual and reliable + Able to work in stressful situations and problem solve Preferred: + Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred + Previous experience in a hospital or behavioral health setting preferred Scheduling Functions: + Shift-8:30am-4:30pm + Monday-Friday + Full Time/ Day Essential Functions: + Greets and schedules consumers for appointments + Professionally answers phones and emails and responds to general consumer inquiries + Compiles reports as needed + Carries out clerical duties such as filing, typing, copying and scanning + Manages general clinic area and contacts appropriate party to address any issues + Maintains necessary databases (employee checklist, hospital compliance list, etc.) + Handles team members requests for supplies, including equipment/phone issues + Maintains supplies inventory + Maintains compliance with all organizational policies and procedures + Attends staff meetings, workshops, trainings and supervision + Other responsibilities as assigned by management Benefits and Perks: At RWJBarnabas Health, our employees are at the heart of everything we do.
