An Administration Coordinator (Culinary) will coordinate, oversee and perform administrative support for the Culinary Director and Culinary department, and serve as the primary point of operational and administrative contact.

\nWhat will I be doing?

\n\n

As Administration Coordinator, you will provide excellent administrative support to department and other managers, as assigned. Specifically, a Administration Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\n\n\tManage the Departmental schedule\n\tHandle all calls and appointments, courteously and promptly\n\tProvide accurate management of all documentation and maintain a systematic filing system\n\tAssist with the coordination of special projects, including scheduling and follow-up\n\tArrange accommodation and flights for the Manager business travel\n\tAny other ad hoc tasks as requested by Manager(s)\n\tExcellent ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure\n\tStrong follow up and excellent attention to detail\n\tAbility to consistently meet deadlines\n\tWorking knowledge of computers in a Window environment with emails Microsoft Word, Excel and related printers and equipment\n\tExcellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management and employees\n\tExcellent organizational skills\n\tAdminister payroll records and vacation schedules for culinary colleagues\n\tAssist with the scheduling of chefs in all kitchens\n\tAssist with recruiting of culinary employees through candidate assessment and pre- screening\n\tCoordinate departmental trainings, seminars and competitions\n\tAssist with food costing and development of menu items in both restaurants and banquets\n\tPrepare and update Food Hygiene and Health & Safety records \n\tRead, sort and route incoming mail and interoffice documents\n\tCompose and distribute correspondence and memoranda, reports, documents, forms and other printed materials\n\tSet up, organize and maintain correspondence files and other departmental records so that they are easily retrievable by department members\n\tOrder, distribute and coordinate inventory office supplies as required\n\tMaintain and organize in a professional manner, personal workspace and shared department spaces such as copy and supply rooms\n\tCoordinate departmental and management team meetings\n\tCommunicate company policies, procedures and processes as applicable\n\tAttend training classes to increase knowledge of software programs, company information, time management, or other skills as required\n\tCreate, compose, and edit technical and/or administrative correspondence and documentation; screen and evaluate incoming and outgoing correspondence and prepare responses as appropriate.\n\tAssist stewarding department with administrative duties as needed\n
