Role Overview

Provide general administrative support for the organisation. Coordinate human resource functions including staff training and development activities. Maintain employee records, assist with recruitment and onboarding, and support performance management processes. Support planning and delivery of assigned Media Development Initiative (MDI) workplan activities. Liaise with MDI Operations and Finance teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant implementation of activities. Build and manage relationships with assigned partners. Support workshop activities, presentations, conferences, and learning events. Assist in project reporting and provision of high-quality performance information. Collaborate with MDI Operations Manager on progress, risk management, and adherence to policies. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Team Leader and Operations Manager.

Skills & Qualifications

Labour Relations: Knowledge of labour laws and regulations. Training & Development: Experience in designing and implementing training programs. Office Management: Proficient in managing office operations efficiently. Mentoring: Ability to guide and support staff development. Administration: Strong organizational skills for effective administration. Document Control Systems: Familiarity with administration and document control systems. Staff Management: Experience in managing diverse teams. HR Systems: Proficient in HR management systems.

Education & Experience

Qualifications: Degree in a relevant discipline. Experience: Minimum of three years in project coordination, administration, or human resources. Skills: Proven ability to build professional relationships within the PNG context.
