**Ready to Make an impact?**
You will be responsible for investigating, evaluating and finalizing primarily Casualty claims advanced against the corporation on a national level. You will need to strive for a thorough knowledge of the Corporation and the operations of the various subsidiaries.
**This role is flexible to both office locations; Stellarton and Dartmouth. If remote work is needed this can be discussed.**
**Here’s where you’ll be focusing:**
• Manage diverse but manageable levels of claims
• Work independently to conduct claim investigations; obtain and evaluate internal and external defence
materials and source any documentation that may assist in defending claims
• Determine liability and course of action
• When opportunities present, attend district meetings of field personnel to support location management on
proper investigative techniques and loss prevention practices
• Monitor loss prevention issues and communicate with team to source potential strategies to minimize risk and
source creative ways to communicate loss prevention strategies to field personnel
• Produce quarterly claim boardereaus as well as generate and distribute claims metric reports to operations
executives
• Thrive in a supportive team environment -including collaborating with full team to achieve best outcomes
**What you have to offer:**
• Completed or working towards CIP designation plus 5 years relevant work experience
• Strong negotiation skills, confident nature, diplomatic, team player, kind mentor
