Position Summary: The Department of Biological Sciences at SUNY Cortland is accepting applications to fill potential part-time adjunct faculty openings for the 2025-2026 academic year. Starting Salary: $4500 per 3 credit hour course Major Responsibilities: A classroom based 3 credit hour course pays $4500 per class. The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below but this list is not all inclusive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department. ILLUSTRATIVE NEEDS INCLUDE : Laboratory Instructors for majors and non-majors Introductory Biology Cell Biology, Genetics Human Anatomy and Physiology Microbiology for non-majors Ecology Required Qualifications: + Appropriate level of experience and/or Master’s degree in biological fields related to course subject area. Preferred Qualifications: + Terminal degree preferred.
