Job Title Adjunct Faculty in Accounting, Finance, Computerized Business Analytics, and Business Statistics Agency Texas A&M University - San Antonio Department Department Of Accounting & Finance Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location San Antonio, Texas Job Type Faculty Job Description The Department of Accounting, Finance, Economics is seeking multiple part-time adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate courses in accounting, finance, computerized business analytics and business statistical methods for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. Most courses are taught in person with a few courses taught online either synchronously or asynchronously. Salary: $3,000 per credit hour Required Education and Experience: + An earned Master's degree or higher in the field or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution. + At least 18 graduate hours in accounting, finance, business analytics, business statistics or a closely related field. Preferred Education and Experience: + Working towards or has earned a Ph.D. in accounting, finance, business analytics, or business statistics or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution. + Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a college/university setting. + Industry experience in the field to be taught is highly desirable. + Lecture and computer-based laboratory teaching experience or related industry experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Excellent presentation skills. + Interest in active and collaborative learning, and the instructional use of technology. + Experience with non-traditional commuter university setting. + Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff + Ability to respond promptly to queries from students, faculty, and staff. The position is open until filled but review of applications will begin immediately.
