Job Title: Account Development Executive – Field Sales (OR)
Job Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to help launch a new local delivery partner program in your area. As a field-based Account Development Executive, you recruit and onboard small and medium-sized businesses into a hub delivery partner program. You visit prospective businesses in person, present the program, qualify interested partners, guide them through the application process, and support community-based recruitment events. You collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, manage your pipeline in Salesforce, and travel within a two-hour driving distance. This position includes commission opportunities tied to partner conversions, as well as mileage and phone expense support.

ResponsibilitiesVisit prospective local businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance.Present and pitch the new delivery partner program to prospective businesses and generate interest in applying.Qualify prospective business partners based on program criteria and guide them step by step through the application process.Record, track, and manage all lead and pipeline activity using Salesforce and other CRM tools.Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including follow-up calls and messages, to move prospects through the funnel.Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals.Import and update Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure accurate and current data.Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners by answering questions, addressing concerns, and helping solve issues that arise during the application process.Maintain a high level of professionalism, urgency, and responsiveness in all interactions with business owners and community partners.Work primarily in the field to generate new partner applications, while completing follow-up and administrative tasks from home.Travel regularly within the assigned territory, up to approximately four hours round trip daily, to maximize partner recruitment opportunities.Essential SkillsAt least 2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.Proven outside or field sales experience.CRM experience required, with Salesforce strongly preferred.Demonstrated success in prospecting and managing a sales pipeline.Experience making outbound calls and conducting proactive outreach.Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability.Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately manage data and documentation.Problem-solving skills, especially in supporting applicants and resolving issues in the field.Tech-savvy and comfortable working with multiple systems, spreadsheets, and online tools.Ability to travel up to approximately four hours round trip on a daily basis as needed.Enthusiasm for working with others and collaborating as part of a team.Ability to work with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior field sales experience is a strong plus.Previous roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers are highly beneficial.Experience in business development, account management, or outside sales.Background in customer-facing roles such as customer service or client support.Bilingual abilities are an advantage for engaging a diverse base of local business owners.Familiarity with sales management practices and using CRM tools to track leads and performance.Comfort working independently in the field while maintaining regular communication with a Field Manager and team.Interest in building long-term community partnerships with small businesses and local organizations.Work Environment

This role is based in and around Medford, OR, with a strong focus on field work. You spend approximately 80% of your time in the field visiting businesses, attending meetings, and supporting community recruitment events, and about 20% of your time working from home on follow-up, administrative tasks, and CRM updates. The position requires regular driving within a territory of up to roughly a two-hour radius, with daily travel potentially up to four hours round trip. You use tools such as Salesforce and Excel to manage leads and data. The role offers commission opportunities per partner application and launch milestones, a monthly phone bill expense contribution, and mileage reimbursement at a specified per-mile rate. The environment is fast-paced, community-focused, and highly interactive, with frequent in-person contact with small business owners and local organizations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $25.50/hr.
