Position Overview:

The Additives Technician is responsible for preparing, measuring, and adding chemical or material additives to production processes according to specifications. This role ensures accurate formulation, proper documentation, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure and mix additives based on production requirements and formulas. Operate equipment for blending, dosing, and transferring additives. Monitor additive levels and replenish as needed to maintain continuous production. Maintain accurate records of additive usage and batch details. Inspect and clean additive equipment to ensure proper operation. Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and PPE use. Communicate with production and quality teams to ensure correct additive application. Assist in troubleshooting additive-related issues during production.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or chemical handling experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret formulas and safety data sheets (SDS). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
