**Description** As the **AD** , **IT Lead Business Consultant – Patient Support Demand Management** , you will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to Patient Excellence and cross-functional stakeholders, driving the intake, prioritization, and delivery of digital initiatives that support patients throughout their treatment journey. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, enabling seamless collaboration between IT and Patient Excellence teams to ensure that digital solutions are aligned with enterprise strategy, regulatory requirements, and patient-centric goals. You will lead demand management processes, facilitate governance, and help shape the future of patient support capabilities through innovation, operational excellence, and strategic foresight. This role is based in our Ridgefield, Ct office with employees working at least 2-3 days on site to support the business. **Compensation Data** This position offers a base salary typically between $140,000 to 222,000 This position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements. (https://www.boehringer-ingelheim.com/us/careers/benefits-rewards) ​ **Duties & Responsibilities** **Serve as Strategic Liaison** : Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, external vendors, and IT delivery teams to ensure seamless intake, evaluation, and execution of digital demands. **Manage Demand Lifecycle** : Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT requests using tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow, ensuring all demands are complete, well-defined, and aligned with strategic business and IT objectives. **Facilitate Governance and Prioritization** : Lead governance forums, prioritization discussions, and steering committee meetings to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely decision-making. **Monitor and Report Progress** : Maintain dashboards and KPIs to track demand status, performance, and delivery metrics; provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership. **Drive Risk Mitigation and Process Improvement** : Proactively identify risks and bottlenecks, implement mitigation strategies, and champion continuous improvement to enhance time-to-market and stakeholder satisfaction. **Support Demand Management Evolution** : Contribute to the development and implementation of Demand Management 2.0 by refining processes, tools, and best practices. **Ensure Compliance and Architectural Alignment** : Collaborate with enterprise architects and compliance teams to ensure all solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). **Translate Business Needs into Scalable Solutions** : Work with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into modular, scalable digital solutions that support Boehringer Ingelheim’s patient engagement ecosystem. **Requirements** + Bachelors´ and/or /Masters´ degree (or equivalent); progressive IT and business experience of five (5) to ten (10) years is preferred. + Proven experience in IT project or demand management, ideally within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industries + Strong proficiency with demand management tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, and other workflow or portfolio management platforms + Domain level expertise in Patient Support Programs + Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and regulatory frameworks including HIPAA, GDPR, and GxP + Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into scalable, modular digital solutions + Demonstrated expertise in patient data management, including data privacy, consent models, and integration with patient support systems. + Skilled in identifying risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and driving continuous process improvements + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders + Experience leading governance forums, steering committees, and providing transparent status updates to senior leadership + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining strategic focus **Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities** + 10+ years of experience in Lifesciences industry supporting Commercial and Medical applications. + 7+ years of experience in IT business consulting, demand management, or digital transformation roles. + 5+ years of experience with patient support programs and applications + 5+ years of experience with CRM systems (Salesforce Health Cloud, Veeva CRM), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, patient management platforms, and data analytics tools + PMP, BRM, Agile and ITIL certifications **Eligibility Requirements** Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
