As the Upstream Marketing Manager for the Acute Care Business Unit, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Patient Care portfolio—including beds and surfaces—within the global healthcare market. You will drive the annual strategic planning process, provide deep competitive insights, and anticipate emerging market dynamics to ensure the business remains ahead of the curve. This role demands a visionary mindset capable of translating customer input and market trends into actionable strategies, while fostering cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Clinical Affairs, and Commercial teams. By identifying unmet needs, guiding the product lifecycle, and aligning marketing strategies with organizational goals, you will directly impact portfolio growth and the broader success of the business.
What You Will Do:
Lead New Product & Business Development (NPD/BD) for the Acute Care Business Unit, focusing on Patient Care (beds and surfaces)
Own and drive the annual strategic planning process for the Patient Care portfolio
Analyze market trends, identify unmet needs, and translate insights into product and service opportunities
Monitor competitive activity and advise on current and future market dynamics
Develop and execute long-term portfolio strategy aligned with broader business objectives
Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and emerging thought leaders
Guide customer acquisition and retention strategies based on market potential and segmentation
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Clinical Affairs, and Marketing to support product development and clinical claims
Lead the end-to-end new product development process, managing cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
Oversee pricing strategy, forecast development, and performance metrics to support business goals
Ensure alignment of marketing strategies and promotional efforts across channels
Promote industry best practices and internal awareness of evolving healthcare standards and market expectations
What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 8+ years of work experience required
Preferred:
• MBA preferred
• 5+ years medical device or marketing experience preferred
• 2+ years of people management experience preferred
