\nPosition Summary:\n

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our growing NeuroHospitalist team. This inpatient role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside NeuroICU, Neurosurgery, and Stroke teams. You’ll engage with supervising physicians, residents, and other advanced practice professionals as part of a team committed to excellence in neurological patient care.

\n

Ideal candidates will have a background in Neuroscience ICU, Stroke, or Neurohospitalist care, but we welcome new graduate ACNPs with a strong interest in neuroscience to apply. On-the-job training will be provided, including opportunities to learn procedures such as lumbar puncture.

\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n\n

Provide acute inpatient care for patients with neurological conditions

\n\n\n

Collaborate with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary teams

\n\n\n

Participate in patient rounds, treatment planning, and discharge processes

\n\n\n

Perform or learn procedures such as lumbar punctures

\n\n\n

Engage in research opportunities, if desired

\n\n\n

Support a 7on/7off rotation schedule

\n\n\nQualifications:\n

Preferred:

\n\n\n

Experience in Neuro ICU, stroke care, or inpatient neurology

\n\n\n

Interest or experience in research and academic medicine

QUALIFICATIONS

\n\nEDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program\nEXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience\n\n

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION 

\n\nAcute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)\nRegistered Nurse (RN)\nBasic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.\n
