What the day will look like
The Actuarial Intern will support an actuarial product by assisting with data analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment projects. This internship provides hands-on experience in the insurance industry, allowing interns to apply classroom knowledge to real-world business challenges. The intern will gain exposure to actuarial methods, tools, and processes while contributing to the team’s efforts in pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
+ Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data for actuarial projects.
+ Support the development and maintenance of actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
+ Participate in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Conduct research on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
+ Collaborate with team members to solve business problems and improve existing processes.
+ Help validate data accuracy and ensure consistency in analyses.
+ Perform other duties as assigned to support the actuarial team.

This programme is ideal for students who are in their penultimate year of university, but we also welcome first-year applicants.
+ Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Python) is a plus.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
+ Interest in pursuing actuarial exams is preferred.
