**Description** **The Role** + Provide actuarial and analytical support on various insurance business lines and programs. + Participate in consulting mandates by providing support on pricing analysis, loss reserving, profit-sharing analysis, financial forecasting, scenario modeling, claims analytics, dashboard reporting, industry benchmarking, and other ad hoc analysis. + Support actuarial and non-actuarial consultants by preparing and reconciling data, developing summary analyses, producing reports and presentations, and assisting with client and third-party communications etc. + Leverage technical skills to streamline processes, enhance efficiencies, develop innovative approaches to complex actuarial and analytical problems. + Assist with client RFP (Request for Proposal) processes by summarizing vendor partnership proposals and providing analytical support for evaluation. + Assist with other research and presentation material for new client prospects. **Qualifications** **The Requirements** + University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science or computer science (or other relevant technical specialization) + Actively pursuing an actuarial designation through a recognized professional association + Highly organized, resourceful and excellent attention to detail + Strong analytical and critical thinking skills + Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and work independently + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint + Experience with manipulating and summarizing large data sets using R, Python, SQL or similar programming tools.
