This role is based in London, UK, and is part of the Actuarial UKI ePricing team, reporting to the ePricing Lead for UKI.
As the ePricing Actuarial Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing pricing models to ensure competitive pricing, portfolio profitability, and alignment with business objectives. The position covers multiple products, including Property, Casualty, Financial Lines and Packages, and involves close collaboration with underwriters, business leaders, and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, experience in Property and/or Casualty pricing, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Key responsibilities:
Pricing & Rate Management: maintaining and updating pricing raters to ensure market competitiveness in the UK. Collaborate with underwriters, business leaders, and actuaries to refine pricing strategies and enhance models. Liaise with our offshore actuarial team to deliver reliable service to stakeholders.
Contribute to Pricing modernisation: take an active part in the migration of Pricing and Policy Administration platforms, ensuring accurate implementation, and a smooth transition. Interaction with Global and regional technology teams to achieve the best outcome.
Underwriting Support: Provide ad-hoc analytical support to underwriters and business leaders, working closely with the Lead Actuary to help achieve growth and profitability targets. Ensure products and pricing comply with UK regulatory requirements.
Portfolio & Profitability Analysis: Conduct regular portfolio reviews under the guidance of the Lead Actuary to segment and analyze the book, identifying areas of strong performance and profitability across the UK market.
Rate Monitoring: Track monthly rate changes and monitor performance against targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights to stakeholders.
Actuarial Development Projects: Contribute to the development of new products, pricing initiatives, and broader actuarial projects tailored to the UK market, working closely with the Lead Actuary.
Dashboard Development: Collaborate with data teams to maintain and enhance dashboards for tracking key metrics related to the profitability and performance of the book, in the context of portfolio management indicators.

Knowledge and Experience
Relevant experience within the general insurance industry in UK.Strong pricing expertise, preferably with system-integrated pricing models, and experience working with IT teams on system model implementation.Excellent software/programming skills (experience with Radar is an advantage; SQL or Python is highly desirable).2-5 years of relevant actuarial experience.Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a solution-focused mindset.Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to change.
