Actuarial AI Implementation / AI Engineer
Position Overview: The Actuarial AI Implementation / AI Engineer will be a pivotal member of the Actuarial Modeling & Systems team. We are seeking an innovative, customer-focused individual who can understand and assess the needs of our internal end users, identify high-value use cases, and build out and scale AI/ML solutions across the department to ensure successful project delivery. This role will involve not only integrating AI technologies into existing and future business practices but also actively developing AI/ML solutions tailored to address actuarial challenges. The Actuarial AI Implementation / AI Engineer must be insightful and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless implementation of these cutting-edge technologies while playing a key role in developing and building out strategies and prototypes.
What you do:
· Lead the end-to-end AI implementation strategy across multiple Actuarial business functions, from discovery, to build, to deployment.
· Collaborate with teams performing financial analysis, reporting, and software development to identify opportunities for AI-powered solutions that improve operations and productivity.
· Develop and execute the roadmap for AI applications, including predictive and generative AI capabilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
· Build out prototypes using generative AI solutions and machine learning technologies.
· Test and pilot AI features, track adoption, collect feedback, and propose refinements to enhance user experience.
· Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams and stakeholders, acting as a liaison between business units and technical teams.
· Ensure all AI projects comply with established Allianz AI guidelines, data privacy, and security standards.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in AI project management and delivery, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
What you bring:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Data Science, or related field.
· 3-5 years of proven experience in AI and Machine Learning implementation strategies amongst complex enterprise environments with a focus on real-world application and business impact.
· Experience deploying predictive and generative AI models, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning models.
· Strong written communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work with internal customers to assess needs and present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical).
· Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
· Proficiency in various AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot.
· Curious, analytical mindset with a passion for AI, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
