Job Description Good Shepherd Village at Endwell is looking for a creative, energetic person who enjoys working with older adults to join us as a Therapeutic Recreation Leader! Position Detail One (1) Full time position available. Day shift (some early evenings as needed) Position Summary The Activities Leader is responsible for planning and implementing therapeutic recreation programs. These programs enable each of our residents to engage in cultural, spiritual, diversional, physical, political, social and intellectual activities within the facility and in the community. Our therapeutic programs are designed to promote and maintain the resident's sense of usefulness to self and others, making his/her life more meaningful, stimulate and support the desire to use his or her physical and mental capabilities to the fullest extent and enable the resident to maintain a sense of usefulness and self-respect. Essential Job Requirements Education: High School diploma or GED preferred License: N/A Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age.
