Activities Director
Job Title: Activities Director Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Activities Director to develop and oversee a comprehensive schedule of activities that cater to the social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual needs of our residents. Responsibilities + Plan and organize activities that address the diverse needs of residents. + Coordinate with staff and volunteers, ensuring they are well-trained and their performance is regularly evaluated. + Conduct interviews and assessments with residents to personalize activities based on their interests and needs. + Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and attendance in activities. + Plan and manage the budget for the activities department effectively. + Ensure all activities comply with safety protocols and regulatory standards. + Foster community engagement by developing relationships with family members and community resources to enhance the activity program. Essential Skills + Proficiency in event planning, project management, and event coordination. + Strong administrative support skills. + Experience in property management and community outreach. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Preferably a BA degree; a high school diploma or GED may be acceptable. + At least two years of experience in a recreation program within long-term care. + An applicable degree with internship/externship experience. + Experience in an assisted living or long-term care facility is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
