The Activities Aide supports resident well-being by helping create meaningful, engaging experiences that promote connection, purpose, and quality of life. This role works closely with the care team to ensure activities are inclusive, resident-centered, and aligned with individual needs and interests.

🎶 What You’ll Do
As an Activities Aide, you’ll help bring our residents’ days to life by planning and supporting activities that reflect their interests, abilities, and personal histories. Your work will directly support residents’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being.
Key responsibilities include:
Completing assessments related to residents’ physical abilities, cognitive function, and personal interests
Designing and facilitating engaging activities for individuals and groups with varying abilities
Supporting personalized activity programs that promote participation and enjoyment
Completing Activity Department sections of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Care Area Assessments (CAAs)
Documenting assessments and progress notes accurately and on schedule
Collaborating with nursing and other departments to ensure activities run smoothly
Assisting with the Volunteer Program as directed
Maintaining consistent, reliable attendance as scheduled
🧠 What You Bring
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting or related field (preferred)
CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A team-focused mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
Comfort using computers, including Microsoft Office, and learning new systems
Understanding of confidentiality laws, including HIPAA
A commitment to professionalism, integrity, kindness, and empathy

Shift:
Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
