We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement AFRICOM’s mission objectives.
**Responsibilities:**
+ CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, **Active Directory Administrator - Senior** This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US AFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany.
Responsible for:
+ Supporting systems and applications on a geographically dispersed Enterprise network with multiple types of servers and server applications. You will be directly responsible for the effective and efficient operation and interconnectivity of a Department of Defense Network and will execute the actions required to correct deficiencies or shortcomings and to improve system performance and efficiency.
+ Active Directory Architecture & Deployment Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable AD infrastructures that align with enterprise goals and industry best practices.
+ Engineer and enforce Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to standardize system configurations, enhance security posture, and support operational consistency.
+ Diagnose and resolve complex AD-related issues—including authentication failures, replication errors, and access anomalies—with speed and precision
+ Partner with infrastructure, application, and security teams to integrate AD services with cloud platforms, identity providers, and enterprise systems.
+ Develop and maintain detailed documentation for AD configurations, GPOs, and operational procedures to support audits, onboarding, and team alignment. Performs the quarterly review of released STIG GPOs from DISA.
+ Oversee timely upgrades, patching, and version control of AD and related services to maintain system integrity and performance.
**Qualifications:**
**Required**
+ Currently hold a current adjudicated Top Secret Clearance and be able to obtain maintain a TS/SCI.
+ Active Directory Experience is a must. A high degree of engineering background experience in Microsoft Active Directory Design and Domain Name Services (DNS)
+ Professional certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570 IAT III (CASP or equivalent including CISM, CISSP.
+ Demonstrated success managing AD environments in complex, multi-domain enterprise settings.
+ Expertise in AD design, replication, DNS, FSMO roles
+ Advanced proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and PowerShell automation.
+ Strong background in GPO creation, troubleshooting, and policy enforcement.
+ Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross-team initiatives.
+ Server Operating Systems Cert(Azure Administrator Associate, AZ-800/801 etc)
+ Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files
+ Professional and responsible system administration of Microsoft platforms
+ 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering work with demonstrated increased responsibility
+ Experience integrating, testing, and deploying new systems and software following System Engineering principles
+ Effective communications throughout all levels of operational command
+ Ability to document system process and architecture
+ TESA Eligibility
**These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:**
+ ITIL v3 – Foundation
+ Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
+ Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
+ Documentation experience using Microsoft Visio or similar products.
+ Experience with DoD IT security requirements

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,700 - 173,900 USD
